You’ll be balance when I waver
I’ll be warmth when you are shivering cold
You’ll be patience when I’ve had enough of this waiting game
I’ll be the anchor cast below

“You like me, don’t you?” Dianna said as she pointed at him accusingly; an amused smile on her face. Andrew looked at her with a vague expression. He wasn’t quite sure if she was serious or not but what she said was ridiculously accurate. “And what if I do?” he asked as he ran his fingers through his hair. ‘This is just wrong.’ he thought. They have been best friends for years and he was afraid of risking their friendship. “What if I do like you?” he repeated.
Dianna felt the corners of her lips curve into a smile. “I knew it!” she said laughing a little. “Come on, Di.” he said as he sat on the edge of his seat. “I-I like you. Do you like me too?” Now, it was time for her to be surprised. She was hesitant at first but after a few moments, her hesitation flew out the window. “Yup. I like you too” she said as the smile on her face grew wider.
As an awkward silence fell upon them, they both regretted having the whole conversation. “Oh,God. I just made everything all awkward, didn’t I?” Dianna said as she leaned her head upon her hand. She knew admitting her feelings for her would ruin everything for them. Andrew got up from his seat and wrapped his arms around her. “You didn’t. Actually, I’m glad you even brought it up” he said. They were completely and utterly happy now that they both know they have feelings for each other.
